2003 Nebbiolo
One of our best vintages to date is our 2003 Stoneheath Nebbiolo Riserva. The grapes are from our Napa Valley Estate Vineyard.
This red wine was barrel-aged in neutral oak for three years. Our 2003 Nebbiolo displays all of the characteristics of a fine Barbaresco (Piemonte) from Northern Italy.
This wine is a beautiful, garnet/brick red color with forward, crushed rose petals in the nose, the taste of bright cherry/berry in the front of the mouth with hints of citrus, and toffee at the back of the mouth. There is a lingering finish that invites another sip of the wine.
This wine should be paired with food. We enjoy the Riserva with pork, duck, roasts, or pasta.

2001 Sangiovese
Our 2001 Sangiovese is a full-bodied red wine with cherry and vanilla overtones. This wine has been aged an unbelievable four years in neutral oak barrels, ensuring that it is eminently drinkable and memorable.
This is an incredibly pleasant wine to drink. There is so much complexity in this wine that it rarely is drunk without deep appreciation.
This is vintage is from our Lake County Vineyard. It pairs well with a roast chicken or other roast meats.

2002 Sangiovese
Our 2002 Sangiovese is a balanced wine with just the right amount of acidity to stand up to tomato sauce and pasta.
This Sangiovese pairs well with pizza, pasta and those friends who just "happened by." (The only problem is that, after tasting this Sangiovese they may not leave.)
